Atmosphere ist unter meinen Top 10 Büchern die ich jemals gelesen habe. Ich habe durch dieses Buch so viel neuses über mich selbst gelernt und mich zum ersten mal in einem Buch wiedergefunden bzw. gesehen gefühlt. Ein Atmeberaubendes Gefühl. Tayler Jenkins Reid hat meiner Meinung nach mit Atmosphere ein noch nie dagewesenes Meisterwerk geschaffen das mich auf so vielen Ebenen berührt hat.

I loved these characters and the story, wow! Compliments to the chef!!! I gasped, I cried, I laughed, I just couldn't put this down. The story is about love in a time when the humans in the world lacked even more tolerance. This is set in the backdrop of NASA and the astronauts training program, which made it all super interesting. The characters felt very well developed, at least the main ones, the pace is perfect and the build up to end, wow, just, wow!

An emotionally charged book, which centres on a NASA scientist in the 1980s who only realises halfway through the book that she's a lesbian. But it’s not overwhelmingly emotional as the main character is rather rational. Reid depicts a beautiful gay awakening and gave us readers a passionate piece full of queer and feminist history, and I definitely recommend it!

My favourite read this year!

This is definitely my favourite book of the author so far. It was inspiring and gutwrenching at the same time. The storytelling was incredible, the way she let us see two spots of the timeline at once, slowly leading them together until the end was brilliant to me. I fell in love with all the characters, all the while knowing what would happen to them, and of course, being a bit of a nerd, the NASA parts were incredibly interesting, especially because TJR actually showed that she researched it really well. And of course, this is subjective, but to me, the way she writes characters, emotions, is so real and gripping, it is hard not to get lost in the books. This will definitely become a shelf favourite that I will continuously recommend.
