The Ninth- House Series by Leigh Bardugo is one of my favourite Dark Academia/Fantasy Series of all time, so I was extremely excited for this third book while also having pretty high expectations. I think that in trilogies the last books are often not the best as they tend to be rushed or sometimes lack of depth. But Leigh Bardugo did everything right with this!! She wrote a perfect (also partially heartbreaking) ending arc for our main characters and included the character developement from the first two books beautifully. The history and mythology aspects were one of my favourite parts in the previous volumes and this one was even richer in literary and mythological references. And what made it even better for me was that the bond between the characters grew even stronger, as I love a found-family trope. While the relationship of our two protagonists didn't stand at the center of this book, it still was perfectly written and you could feel the chemistry trough the pages. I will definitely re-read the whole series in the future.
