Ein sehr informatives Buch, das vielseitige Aspekte des Rassismus beleuchtet. Auch die damit verbundene Emotionalität beider Parteien – diskriminierend handelnde Personen und von Diskriminierung Betroffene – wird thematisiert. Es ist vor allem für Menschen empfehlenswert, die sich zum ersten Mal aktiv mit dem Thema befassen möchten!

Love & Other Disasters

This truly was one of the best books I’ve ever read. Kelly captures the experience of a non-binary character so beautifully that it felt like reading my own thoughts and seeing my own struggles reflected on the page. The way she wrote about identity, vulnerability, and self-acceptance resonated with me on such a personal level, it’s rare to feel that seen by a story. The romance element was tender and natural, drawing me in from the very beginning. I loved how the relationship grew out of understanding and genuine connection rather than cliché drama. It made the emotional parts hit even harder, and I often found myself smiling one moment and tearing up the next.

"Sunrise on the Reaping" once again illustrates the extent to which corrupt regimes can manipulate and control without citizens even noticing, leaving a lingering sense of unease and reflection.

Die AKB, die wir vom Platz kennen, die coole, mutige und laut Medien „riskant“ spielende Torhüterin, zeigt sich in diesem Buch von einer ganz neuen, sehr persönlichen Seite.
