Atemberaubend schön geschrieben - breathtakingly beautiful writing

Habs verschlungen und geliebt, die Beschreibungen der Umgebungen, die Dialoge und der innere Monolog der Hauptfigur sind alle wundervoll geschrieben. Kann auch ohne Vertrautheit mit den Disney-Filmen gelesen werden, und trifft das YA Genre sehr gut; also kein Smut, keine graphischen Gewaltszenen usw. Wärmste Empfehlung! Diese Ausgabe kommt mit Umschlag, das gebundene Buch innen ist ein wunderschönes Hellblau, echt magisch! Devoured it quickly and loved it. The descriptions of the surroundings, the dialogues and the inner monologue of the main character are wonderfully written. Can also be read without knowing the Disney movies, and fits the YA genre very well; no smut, no graphic violence and so on. Highly recommend!! This edition comes with a removable cover, and the bound book that's inside is a dreamy light blue, truly magical!

Wunderschön und tragisch

Zum ersten mal seit Jahren war ich endlich wieder richtig gespannt und voller Vorfreude auf ein Buch. Als ich erfahren habe, dass die Liebesgeschichte über Clarion und Milori ein eigenes Buch bekommt, musste ich es sofort vorbestellen und habe ungeduldig darauf gewartet. Und das warten hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Was mir am besten gefällt ist, dass man die (soon-to-be) Königin Clarion durch das Buch nochmal ganz anders kennenlernt, als in den Filmen. Mit all ihren Unsicherheiten, Imperfektionen und ihrer Einsamkeit ist sie für mich ein Charakter mit dem ich total mitfühlen kann und ich finde es toll die Welt von Pixie Hollow mal durch ihre Augen zu "sehen". Auch die Nebencharaktere Petra, Artemis und Elvina waren mir alle sympathisch und sind mir schnell ans Herz gewachsen. Und was soll ich schon zu Milori und Clarions Story und Beziehung sagen?... Um es so Spoiler-frei wie möglich zu gestalten: Ich habe mitgefühlt, gegrinst, gehofft, geweint und gewünscht, das Buch würde ewig gehen. Ich denke für all diejenigen, die die Tinkerbell Filme geliebt haben (so wie ich) ist das Buch ein absolutes MUSS und wird eine Achterbahn an Gefühlen.

This book is for every Tinkerbell girly who waited patiently for the love story of Clarion and Milori. Little Me couldn't be happier. Allison Saft really ate with this one!! You will smile and giggle, maybe even cry but in the end you are just happy with how cute and well it's written.

a book full of magic and pure nostalgia

Wings of Starlight is the book, that will heal your inner child. It tells the reader the original story of Queen Clarion, the beloved queen from the Disney Fairies / Tinkerbell universe. It takes place right before she enters her new role and we get to learn about her fears and longings. And while the book is primarily about her, it gave ân incredible insight on the traditions, life and mysteries of the fairies. This detail, paired with the incredible writing style of Allison Saft, made the perfect short and fast paced read. For me it was immediately clear that I would read this book as soon as it was announced and it did not disappoint. In fact, it took me longer to read it because I kept annotating so much, may it have been because of the plot or the beautiful writng. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a slice of nostalgia.
