For the Fans

Avi and Kyran had me in a chokehold while reading this book. The amount of sarcastic retorts between them and the whole bickering and banter is so damn amazing that I couldn't put the book aside. Also, their chemistry was so real, that it felt like, I could sense it too.

There’s one thing I can definitely say about this book: it’s got spice—and plenty of it. It’s about two stepbrothers who can’t stand each other but desperately need money. They have to find a solution—and that solution is actually OnlyFans. I’ll be honest: At first, I couldn’t imagine at all how this idea was supposed to work. Then there’s Avi, who is definitely my favorite. With his funny, charming, and slightly clueless nature, you just can’t help but like him. It’s exactly this nature, however, that makes Kyran hate him even more than he already does. But to me, Kyran is just as lovable a character. I think he undergoes one of the most powerful character arcs I’ve ever read in an MM romance novel. When Avi starts with OnlyFans, it’s described in great detail what he does there—and of course, the fans always want more. And what works better than two men who can’t stand each other? That’s exactly how their joint “job” begins. Even though both make it clear from the start that it’s all just for the money and, above all, for the fans, it becomes clear over time that there’s more to it than what the two are willing to admit. Aside from the spice, there’s also plenty of humor. With every new chapter, comments pop up that are either totally raunchy or just incredibly funny—I really liked that. What put me off a bit at first was the nearly 800 pages. We all know how quickly a book can become tedious, and I was really afraid of that. But here, almost every page was worth it. The last 50 pages, however, could have been left out for me personally—it got a bit too much for me there. That’s why I can’t give it 5 stars. All in all, though, a successful and smut-filled book.
