    Dire Bound

    Das Buch hat mir aus einer verdammt hartnäckigen Leseblockade herausgeholfen und ich fand es einfach nur fantastisch! Im Buch folgen wir Meryn, die im 'Armenviertel' aufgewachsen ist, und sich und ihre Mutter und Schwester Saela mit mehreren Jobs gerade so über Wasser hält. Als jedoch Saela entführt wird, setzt Meryn alles daran, sie wieder zu finden. Dafür schreibt sie sich sogar biem Militär ein und muss deshalb eine ein Bindungsritual mit den Schattenwölfen durchlaufen um eine Gebundene zu werden... oder zu sterben. Und Gebundene sind Menschen, die Meryn abgrundtief hasst. Sie stehen für alles, wofür Meryn nicht steht. Geld, Reichtum und Adel. Wider Erwarten wird sie ausgerechnet von der mächtigen, weissen Schattenwölfin Anassa auserwählt und muss daher weitere Prüfungen absolvieren und überleben, um eine vollwertige Gebundene zu werden, damit sie ihre Suche nach Saela fortsetzen kann. Doch dabei läuft allerhand nicht so ganz nach Meryn's Plan und sie deckt lang vergrabene Geheimnisse und Intrigen auf und plötzlich weiß sie nicht mehr, wem sie noch trauen kann.

    God of Fury

    I fell in love the minute I opened that book. Not only because of Niko and Bran but because of the whole book, the setting, Rina Kent's writing style and everything around that. Oh, and did I mention Niko? Yeah he was just perfect. A little bit deranged, unhinged and violent, and heavily tatted. (Plus point for him) But back to the original topic. God of Fury was just a damn masterpiece, that would definitely land on my 'Would read for the first time again'-list on the first place.

    Fourth Wing

    I have not read a book that great for a while. - That was what I told my coworker, when I first finished Fourth Wing after she insisted, that I had to read the series. And now that I've re-read the three books, I feel like, they are still masterpieces, that only few other titles can top. It is the perfect mix of fantasy, romance, war and most importantly, dragons.

    For the Fans

    Avi and Kyran had me in a chokehold while reading this book. The amount of sarcastic retorts between them and the whole bickering and banter is so damn amazing that I couldn't put the book aside. Also, their chemistry was so real, that it felt like, I could sense it too.

    The Night Prince

    After finishing the first novel of the series, I just couldn't stop. It was addicting. I needed to know how the story revolving around Aurora, Callum and Blake continues. And again, I was nothing short of mesmerized. The whole plot after Rory was bitten by James was just crazy. And at some point I was like, 'Damn, did that really just happen?' And now, I can't wait for September when the grand finale of the series arrives! Also, I know I've said it before, but we really need to appreciate Blake. Like he was always following his own plan, while at the same time he was trying everything in his power to keep Rory safe.

    Witches of Deadly Sins

    Das Buch war wundervoll zu lesen, man ist quasi nur über die Seiten geflogen und trotzdem hat man noch den tieferen Sinn erfassen können. In dem Worldbuilding und ebenso der Magie stecken viele ausgeklügelte Pläne und Gedanken, dass es wie ein komplexes Netz erscheint, das es auch ist. Nur mit dem MMC konnte ich mich nicht so ganz anfreunden. Dastan war anfangs etwas komisch, hat sich dann im Laufe des Buches gebessert und zum Schluss habe ich ihn nicht ausstehen können. Außerdem finde ich, hätte man diese eine Spice-Szene locker weglassen können, und das Buch wäre dadurch wahrscheinlich noch besser gewesen. Nichtsdestotrotz freue ich mich schon auf den zweiten Teil.

    Kiss the Villain

    4.5/5⭐️ I gave it 0.5 stars less because at some points it could be helpful to have read the Legacy Of Gods - series before because a few scenes were more explicitly written in the other novels, but then again we get a conversation in the same scene that is totally different compared to the LoG novel, so that is that. Other than that I have to say I really liked the story about Gareth and Kayden(I was looking forward to their own book since like forever) and I was so happy when it finally released. So it's safe to say the story and the characters themselves didn't disappoint me in the slightest. And as a bonus, it contains a lot of really funny scenes where I literally had to pause for a minute to compose myself again.

    Leave Me Behind

    That book sure was something else. It was in a dark setting, where both Main Characters felt like they don't belong in this world. Since they are both in the Military, or rather the Dark Forces, they know that each day could be their last one. After a shared night they find out, that they will have to work together on the same team, even though Nell's old team was in a clinch with her now new one. And because of that she is openly recieving hateful comments from Bones and his colleagues, but she endures it without a word. From their first interaction on they had this immersive tesion between them, just like they also had an invisible bond connecting them. They were truly made for each other. The only thing I din't quite like was around the last 100 pages or so. It felt extremely rushed and forced, but other than that it was a great book.

    Lights Out

    It was not as dark as some other books, but rather a dark comedy romance. Like the amount of times I've laughed out loud has to be a dark number. Also the fact that Josh called Aly's cat, Fred, his child was sooo heartwarming. And if someone asks me about my favorite character in Lights Out I really have to say that it was Fred

    The Eyes Are the Best Part

    Oh my god. This book was great. I mean it wasn't really a Horror Story, but rather a Thriller, but it was a joy reading it. Like I thought I could never sympathise with a cannibal, but here I am. And those men deserved it. And as the cherry on top, she got away with three murders.
