Before the Coffee Gets Cold

At first, I had absolutely no idea that it was made up of separate stories. I genuinely thought we were just following the first main character. Then the second story started and I was just like… huh? It took me a moment, but then I was like, ahhh, okay. I get it. Suddenly the chapter titles made sense too. I was just a bit slow connecting the dots. This book really got to me. I literally cried on the train. The story with the sisters absolutely broke me. That’s probably the one that’s going to stay with me the longest. Even though a lot of these stories are heartbreaking, it still felt like such a comforting read. It’s emotional, obviously, but it also has this quiet, cozy feeling that I really loved. I don’t really know how to explain it any better. I’m still not sure if I’ll continue with the rest of the series. Maybe I will, maybe I won’t. But I’m definitely curious.
