This story is written manly from Violet's POV in the first person. There are a view chapters from other points of view. The story is interesting and captivated me from page one. It happens so much, but at the same time, not so much. I like how much Violet evolved so much through the books, which I like so much, and I could relate really deep to her. Conclusion: I love it but don't know how to live with this book hangover and cliffhanger. book description: After nearly eighteen months at Basgiath War College, Violet Sorrengail knows there’s no more time for lessons. Der dritte Band steht den vorherigen beiden in nichts nach. Es geht direkt spannend weiter und die Handlung spitzt sich immer weiter zu. Ich liebe die Entwicklung der Geschehnisse und dass Rebecca Yarros immer wieder noch eine neue Info, ein neues Detail in Petto hat, dass wieder alles auf den Kopf stellt. Violet und Xadens Beziehung ist so intensiv, wird immer wieder auf die Probe gestellt und doch geben sie nicht auf. Die Charaktere wachsen einem immer mehr ans Herz, was vielleicht nicht immer vorteilhaft ist,... Obwohl das Buch mit über 900 Seiten echt einen großen Umfang hat, kam es mir teils gar nicht so vor, weil die Handlung einfach so fesselnd ist, dass man die Seiten verschlingt. Das Ende dagegen war ein Schlag ins Gesicht (im poisitiven Sinne). Wie soll ich es denn bis zum nächsten Teil aushalten??
