Shark Heart A Love Story

What happens when the most important person in your life slowly transforms into a massive great white shark? This is the question the young couple in this story faces. It’s about discovering what love truly is and what happens when, out of nowhere, you are forced to confront loss. A true masterpiece and definitely one of my all time favorite books. The almost poetic writing style and the unique formatting give this book a special depth, making it something truly extraordinary.

This novel made my heart ache, it broke me and made me whole again. This was such an impressive book, a great story full of characters you really feel for. The author uses the magical realism brilliantly - the husband got a devistating diagnosis: he is slowly but surely turning into a shark. What should the couple do now? We as the reader become part of their story and their family. This book was beautiful and strong and magical and I loved every single second of it. I highly recommend!
