Sorry for screaming there, but oh my… this book is gold! It had me on my tippy toes for the entirety of it’s length. In a very good way. Beautifully drawn characters, a compelling story, a wonderfully positive example of queer relationships and characters. I can not stress this enough, T.J. Klune is the champion of positive and healthy representation of queer relationships! I love it! Go buy and read it! -

Charming
A cozy and pretty funny novel centered around a depressing and terrifying topic: death. Klune has a great writing style and his descriptions bring the world of this book – the surreal yet inviting teashop Charon’s Crossing – to life. The characters were compelling and fun to hang out with. At times too shallow and too repetitive for my taste. Also, Wallace's character development wasn’t delivered well enough. That didn't bother me all too much though. But the ending was a huuuge letdown and undid almost all of the build-up. (3,5/5)
