Awesome Fantasy!
It's been a while since I was so captivated by a book like I was by this one. Sometimes I couldn't wait to find out how things would go on. Geralt is an incredibly great and exciting character who is quite inscrutable. There are no clichés or predictable events in this story. The characters are extremely complex and imperfect, which is what makes it so interesting. Sapkowski often lets the plot of classic fairy tales flow into the story, I'm not quite sure what to think of that. On one hand, these allusions are really well done and fit the plot, but on the other hand, it sometimes brought the magical world down, and I suddenly found myself in a completely different universe. All in all, however, an incredibly great series that I will definitely continue to devour with enthusiasm!
