As a norse pagan and lover of the old gods. i DEVOURED this book. I read every page with a smile on my face. This is a perfect book for a fan of the gods. I always enjoyed the old stories and got those exact ones told as a child, so it was like coming home. The way Neil Gaiman writes it is so beautiful. He tells the story's in such a fun way so you have fun the whole way. I would recommend this to anyone. Especially Norse Mythology fans ;)

Neil Gaiman writes storys like unryming poems. I enjoy his fantasy worlds both in english and german. Very nice to read at a rainy day! Here we learn and get amused by the Gods of the north.

He captures the characters we all know and love in his own amazing way while still staying true to the original myths. I love the way Neil Gaiman tells those stories, reviving age-old myths with fresh, intense vitality. A recommendation for every mythology-fan!
