Die von Heinrich Detering zusammengetragenen Gespräche zeichnen das vielschichtige Portrait eines Künstlers, der sich jeder eindeutigen Festlegung entzieht. Statt klassischer Autobiografie trifft man hier auf ein Selbstbild, das zwischen ganzheitlicher Offenheit, Inszenierung und bewusster Irreführung hin und her schwankt. Was mich besonders fasziniert, ist die Weise, wie Bob Dylan Gespräche als Bühne zu nutzen weiß: Mal reflektiert und poetisch, mal widersprüchlich und spielerisch lässt er immer wieder neue Facetten seiner Persönlichkeit durchschimmern. Ein tolles Buch über einen der einflussreichsten Künstler der Gegenwart!

    Good Omens

    I think this is the best book to ever coime out of a collaboration. Terry Pratchett is a master when it comes to fabulating and working excellent puns into his books. Add Neil Gaiman's spectacular weirdness and you got the perfect book. It is hilarious and makes sure of a good laugh whilst keeping the reader engaged and entertained throughout the entirety of the book. This is the book that really got me back into reading.

    I Wish You All the Best

    This book has one of the best non-binary representations in media. Mason Deaver manages to capture the character on Ben beautifully as they struggle with identity, love, and belonging. "I wish you all the best" is a wonderful and incredibly important novel. Within, it holds a heap of emotions and a bit of drama. Collectively this felt really authentic to read and I simply cannot recommend this book enough.

    Cujo

    Cujo is a tense and quite horrifying exploration of terror in the everyday. I find these sorts of themes very enjoyable to read but it's definitely not everybody's cuppa tea. The story of a rabid dog turning a small-town family's life into a nightmare is so much more than just a tale of animal agression — it's a study of fear, isolation, and the fragility of human control. King's signature style shines through in his vivid character development and the slow building dread that escalates to a gripping climax. This book is disturbing yet compelling. It is a standout in his early work and one of my favorite Stephen King books. Cujo also got a sequel in his Short story collection "You like it darker" which was also great and I highly recommend reading.

    Norse Mythology

    Mythology is often referenced in Neil Gaimans works. However, for this book he went all the way back to the source. He captures the characters we all know and love in his own amazing way while still staying true to the original myths. I love the way Neil Gaiman tells those stories, reviving age-old myths with fresh, intense vitality. A recommendation for every mythology-fan!
