Comparing to the show on Netflix, this book was a huge dissapointement. At first I actually thought I liked the book better but that changed as soon as I noticed the horrific amount of used "ands". It pains me to say that there were so many ands, I had to stop reading because the sheer sight of another "and" gave me chills.
Just for the protocol: I counted in "You" per chapter 183 "ands", that makes an average of 33 per page. (Only counted in one chapter though, not the whole book)
Meanwhile a "normal" book has about 10 "ands" per page on average.
I am not joking when I say, this was the thing that made me stop reading. I really wanted to keep going because per se, I enjoyed the book. But all the "ands" really destroyed it for me.
