Eines meiner Lieblingsbücher! Es lohnt sich wirklich, auch wenn ich leider sagen muss, dass sich eine Stellen etwas ziehen, dennoch besser als die meisten anderen Bücher die so im Internet gehiped werden.

I completely lost myself while reading this book, especially the second half. It‘s beautifully written and i felt so absorbed into their world that i couldn‘t stop reading even though my eyes were filled with tears. Even if i was a 100% sure i knew what‘s going to happen, this book surprised me in a way that i never knew a few words on a piece of paper could. It touched me deeply. Achilles and Patroclus won‘t ever be forgotten.

If you know Achilles and Patroclus, then you know how their story ends. Madeline Miller writes in such a way that each sentence tugs at my heartstrings.  Even if I know their fate, it was nice to pretend that maybe there's a happy end for them. It breaks my heart everytime

I love this book with my whole heart!! It's the kind of book that will make you cry like a baby and shatter you - but at the end you will love it. At first the writing was a bit difficult for me to understand but after a few pages i just really couldn't put the book down. The bond between Achilles and Patroclus is beautifully written. For me it is a one of a kind love story.
