In die Geschichte muss man sich am Anfang ein bisschen reinlesen um die "Message" zu verstehen. Einige Passagen erscheinen etwas in die länge gezogen. Die Geschichte war aber trotzdem bis zum Ende interessant. Es hat einen aber sehr zum Nachdenken gebracht..

This story & the way it’s written is just amazing. Love Oscar Wilde. The wit & the characters are so memorable and the theme is just out of the box. Fantastic to the core from the beginning to the end ❤️ PS: Beware of Chapter 11.

i'm so glad i decided to re-read this in english, the writing is stunning!!! definitely a book to take your time with, wonderfully dark and witty it's at the top of every classic rec list for a reason

This book, set in Victorian London, tells the story of a naive, young man named Dorian Gray, who is exquisitely beautiful. While Dorian comes to realize that physical beauty is finite, the tragic beauty of his story is not.
