Mayhem and the Mortal

The mortal Zaira only wants to live her life with her sister by her side, but when her sister is cursed she has to do everything in her power to save her life – even hiring an assassin to accompany her on a journey to find a possible cure. On their way they are meeting some interesting characters that add a lot absurdity to the story and make it a lot less gloomy. This book was such a fun read and I laughed a lot, which I didn’t expect. It’s a dangerous adventure, but brimming with lots of beings, who don’t take themselves too seriously and that made for an interesting mix and created an entertaining read. I’m very curious to see what will happen to this particular cast of characters in the following book.
