Wunderschöne Kindergeschichte, die von der kleinen Mary erzählt, die nach dem Tod ihrer Eltern zu einem Verwandten ziehen muss und sich dort langweilt. Dank der Hausangestellten und einem geheimnisvollen Garten, den sie findet, wird ihr Leben aber schon bald aufregender und vorallem schließt sie neue Freundschaften. Am Ende

Die Leseprobe ist vielversprechend, ich denke, dass die Geschichte mir gut gefallen wird, aber nocht nicht gelesen. Die Bewertung bezieht sich erstmal nur auf die Buch-Gestaltung. Obwohl es mit der Sonderausgabe mit preisgekrönten Illustrationen geworben wurde, wirkt das Buch insgesamt total billig: dünnes graues Papier, und die Illustrationen sind leider schwarz-weiß. Ich habe es behalten, weil es nicht als Geschenk gedacht wurde, aber meine Erwartungen wurden überhaupt nicht getroffen. Ich kann diese Ausgabe leider nicht empfehlen.
