Devil You Know

I wanted to hate Trey. I really did. After Book 1, I was sure this guy didn’t deserve his own book. And then Book 3 came along… and now here I am saying: This is by far one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. But let me get one thing out of the way: This book isn’t for the faint of heart. Seriously. We already know Juliet from the previous books—Sienna’s best friend, who’s always labeled a psycho. And honestly? That’s exactly what she is. Juliet is dark, twisted, disturbed, and just an absolute badass protagonist. She wants revenge—and it’s going to be bloody. She’s like a little demon that no one can control. At least, that’s what she thinks. But then Trey comes along. If Juliet is a demon, then Trey is the devil. Together, the two of them are pure chaos. Their craziness fits together so perfectly that it’s almost scary—and that’s exactly why it’s so incredibly fun to read about them. I really couldn’t put the book down. And now for the spice… It’s not just “spicy.” It’s completely sick. We’re not talking about normal dark romance here. We’re talking about: unconscious + tattooing / unconscious + piercing. And if you’re thinking “wtf” right now—yes. That’s exactly what I thought, too. I’ve read a lot, but something like this? Never. While I was reading the book, I kept thinking about the movie Hostel—and at times, Jeffrey Epstein, too. And I don’t mean that lightly. That dark, disturbing atmosphere is just there the whole time. What I absolutely loved was the completely twisted dynamic between Trey & Juliet and the fact that they’re both “broken” in their own way. And yet—or maybe precisely because of that—this book completely gripped me. For me: one of the best dark romance books in a long time.
