Ivy and Emmet are amazing, the yearning is crazy. I loved the Victorian England vibes, the balls, and the whole pact system – so creative and refreshing. A must-read if you enjoy Bridgerton-energy with tension that keeps you hooked.

An absolute must-read! The author’s writing style is amazing, the story is rich with detail, and I was completely captivated. And this edition is the most beautiful EVER! Can't wait for the sequel!

I was so hooked on the story - I just randomly discovered it and bought it because the cover is so pretty and the story sounded nice (the normal cover is kinda ugly tbh). I was so hooked and can't wait for the second part after the ending of the first book

The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith is a romantasy that’s like Bridgerton meets The Cruel Prince meets The Selection.   I absolutely loved the concept of this book, and the writing was so vivid and kept me hooked from the first page. I liked the historical elements and that in combination with the fae and Underworld made it even better.   Our protagonist is Ivy who is about to make her debut in society. But she doesn’t want to end up an old aristocrat and so she takes the opportunity to win prince Bram over in a competition. Ivy is intelligent, fierce and she fights for what she wants and she’s the strong type of heroine I exactly like, and I adored her.   Prince Bram is the heir, and he is the one all swoon over, and he is very liked. He is a bit unapproachable at first but that changed later on. Then there’s also his brother Prince Emmett who is more of a wild child and he helps Ivy to win over Bram. The story is a slight love triangle and that added so much angst and delicious tension and I was here for it. But I quickly started to root more for one of them.   The plot was so engaging as well from balls, the competition, the only one bed scene to amazing plot twist. I honestly never wanted to leave this world and was so immersed in the characters and the world. And don’t even get me started on the ending that changed everything and I’m beyond excited for the next book.   The Rose Bargain is a new favorite book and I’m obsessed with it and highly recommend it. 5 stars.   (Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an arc.)

I love love love this book! Do not be fooled by the cover. It’s not a sweet little story. Everyone can bargain with the queen. One wish for each, but it comes with a cost. When her sister comes back from being missing , she is not herself anymore. She can’t remember where she was and what she bargained for. The gossiping ruins ivy’s family and she is sure no one will court her. Until a big opportunity pops up. The queen hosts a competition to wed her fae son Bram. Ivy sees it as her only chance and tries her best to win the princes heart. It’s not as easy as she thought but she gets help from no one less then the one person she hates. Prince Emmett - Brams not so brother. Ivy and emmet got different motivations but they need each other to reach their goals. Ivy risks her family status , her mind , her life and her heart. No one is what they seem and the end had me SWEATING!!! I need the next book asap or I won’t survive it.
