The Strawberry Patch Pancake House

I loved every book in this series but this - this was just amazing! I couldn't put it down and read it in one day! <3 I loved how free and open minded Iris was while Archer was the complete opposite - a stressed Dad who had no clue on how to handle his now new life. It is such a cute and cozy read!

Iris' and Archers' story is just as sweet and funny as the other Dream Harbour books, although this one is a bit sad, too. I really like this series, and it's nice to read about Jeanie, Kira and the others again and find out how their stories continue. I'm looking forward to read "the Gingerbread Bakery" soon.

Archers Leben wird auf den Kopf gestellt: Erschreckend genug, dass er plötzlich die Vaterrolle für ein Kind übernehmen muss, von dem er nichts wusste und dabei ganz genau von allen Einwohnern kritisch beobachtet wird- nein, der Stadt schmecken auch seinen neuen Pancake Rezepte nicht. Dabei zauberte er in Europa auf dem Niveau eines Haubenkochs. Zum Glück kann er sich auf seine neue Nanny verlassen…nie würde er dass durch romantische Gefühle gefährden..obwohl… Eine extrem witzige Romcom die einen bis zu letzten Seite mitfiebern lässt!

If you're looking for a book to sweeten and spice up your spring - you just found it. This was my first read from the Dream Harbor series. In my opinion reading them in order isn't a must but could be helpful. The book was easy to read, perfect for getting out of a reading slump or after a long day if you just want to relax. The tension between the protagonists was very clear from the start... to the reader at least ;) At times I felt it pushed a bit too hard on the Gilmore Girls narrative but I still enjoyed it. I absolutely love the tv series but it was difficult sometimes to really get a picture of Dream Harbor instead of Stars Hollow. But still this was definitely the light and cozy spring read I expected it to be! I see myself reading the rest of the series as well.
