Dieses Buch hat mich auf einer tiefen emotionalen Ebene gepackt. Der Schreibstil variiert, je nachdem welchen der beiden Brüder man in der Geschichte folgt und ich muss sagen (im Englischen, ich weiß nicht wie es in der deutschen Übersetzung ist), dass Sally Rooney diese perfekt ausgewählt hat. Für jeden der vielleicht nicht die perfekte Bilderbuchfamilie hat (und wer hat das schon?) ist dieses Buch eine klare Empfehlung!

Sally Rooney schafft es immer wieder, mundane Geschichten so detailreich und relatable zu schreiben, dass man ziemlich schnell gecatched ist und die Personen in sein Herz schließt.
Bis jetzt mein liebstes Buch von ihr.
