A joy to read!
I am usually not one who enjoys a 'soulmate' trope, but it had dragons and mythological retellings, so I picked it up. The writing style was at times a little flat, but the story and the main characters more than made up for it! Their stories slowly intertwine and stories from the past are getting revealed in a way that made it hard to put this book down. I also really liked that it was just one book, a quick read as a break from all the multiple book series out there at the moment, a well rounded story in just a couple hundred pages. Anybody who is looking for an asian mythology inspired love story has definitely come to the right place here.
