In my opinion ‘Horror’ is still one of the less-read genres - so shoutout to all the Instagram accounts keeping the horror book love alive! That’s exactly where I discovered Burn the Negative by Josh Winning, immediately picked it up, and devoured it. This book has everything: a campy yet gripping vibe, psychological horror that feels all too real, and a haunting that blurs the lines between the supernatural and the terrifying weight of the past. It’s not just about the gore; it’s about the creeping dread. While I loved the story, I have to say the ending left me a little disappointed - but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Josh Winning knows exactly how to keep his readers on edge. If you’re a horror fan looking for something chilling, eerie, and impossible to put down, this one’s worth checking out.
