ich habe das Buch nicht durch Tik Tok entdeckt, somit bin ich ohne Erwartungshaltung in dieses Buch gegangen, aber egal ob mit oder ohne, dieses Buch ist fantastisch. Auch wenn es an einigen Stellen sehr detailliert (gewaltsam)( dies wird nur in einigen Szenen dargestellt und zieht sich nicht so extrem durch das ganze Buch)ist, sind die Plottwists, die Geheimnisse als auch die Storyline in der Vergangenheit (der Mord und die Dynamiken der Gruppe) und die Gegenwart ( die "Reunion" und der Versuch den Mord zu lösen) sind einfach Elegant und Aufregend geschrieben
Die Entwicklung der Protagonistin ist auch wunderbar geschrieben. Man fühlte sich während des Lesens wie ein Teil der "East House Seven", als wäre man direkt vor Ort dabei !!!

Just finished 'In My Dreams I Hold a Knife' and wow, what a ride! This book totally sucked me into its dark academia vibe, which I absolutely love. The characters are so well-written - I found myself hating and loving them at the same time, especially Coop. He's just so... something else. This book is easily the best thing I've read in this genre since 'If We Were Villains.' A solid 5 stars from me! You think you got it figured out and then baaam - another twisted secret!
