Powerless TikTok Made Me Buy It! The epic romantasy series taking the world by storm!

Am Anfang war ich irritiert - weil mich die Geschichte so sehr an Hunger Games erinnert hat, aber spätestens als Paedyn und Kai mit ihrem Banter losgelegt haben, hat es mich nicht mehr gestört ;) Dieses Buch enthält wirklich absolut KEINEN SPICE, aber das braucht es auch nicht....denn diese Tension *puuuuh*. Hab jetzt einen dezenten Book-Hangover und brauche dringend Teil 2!!!

Das Buch ist mein all-time Favorit, ich würde es sofort weiterempfehlen. Für alle, die enemies to lovers lieben. Erinnert mich sehr an fourth Wing gemischt mit the Hunger Games. Nur zu empfehlen!

I read this book ad Fell in love imediatly. I love how the book uses my favorit tropes like enemies to lovers or secret identity and many more. It's a real page turner and so are the other book too.

Paedyn ist eine von Ihnen und durch eine Verkettung unglücklicher Umstände landet sie in den Purging Trials und das Schicksal nimmt seinen Lauf. Ein unglaublich fesselnden Fantasyroman, welcher mich zwischendurch stark an die Hunger Games Serie erinnert, was dem Leseerlebnis jedoch nicht schadet. Ich kann es kaum erwarten die Fortsetzung zu lesen! Spicelevel 0.5/5

SPOILER WARNING!!! For me, Powerless by Lauren Roberts is clearly a 5 out of 5 stars. I really loved this book—the tension between Paedyn and Kai was everything. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I adored the teasing, the flirting, and their back-and-forth banter. It had that perfect mix of slow burn and enemies-to-lovers, and I couldn’t get enough of their dynamic. Kai’s cold, guarded exterior paired with Paedyn’s defiant, sharp wit made every scene between them feel charged with emotion. But I have to say—the scene where Adena was killed absolutely destroyed me. I wasn’t expecting it at all, and it hit way harder than I thought it would. She was such a bright, loyal character, and her bond with Paedyn was one of the few real pieces of comfort in that brutal world. When she died, I genuinely sat there bawling for half an hour. It was such a heartbreaking and powerful moment, and it really showed just how dangerous and unforgiving the world of Ilya is. Overall, I loved the story, the characters, and the emotional rollercoaster. It’s one of those books that stays with you after you finish it.
