Powerless TikTok Made Me Buy It! The epic romantasy series taking the world by storm!

Das Buch hat etwas Ähnlichkeiten mit Hunger Games zu Anfang, aber nur Besser! Die Geschichte ist super spannend, wer Fantasy mag, wird es lieben! Es ist aber nicht zu krass Fantasy, was ich besonders mochte.

Every now and then you stumble upon a beautiful book inside and out, that makes you second guess the genre because how was this not poetry set in a magical fantasy world with feet kicking slow burn romance? Powerless has not only made it impossible for me to last any longer than 4 days to devour the 520 pages even though I tried SO hard to take it slow since it's a botm - but I could not read this any slower for the life of me - it also, very kindly, gifted me with a new book boyfriend The bantering between them and their chemistry is off the charts and made this book so f*cking amazing and unputdownable!! Kai stole my heart with his beautiful words - poetry in my ears - and Paedyn is the definition of powerful while powerless She made me powerless to stop reading the story of Paedyn and Kai while now leaving me in the cold as I have to wait for the sequel... "And when his eyes lock with mine, I wonder why I ever bother looking at anyone else." And yes, the story has resemblances to the hunger games, but how can it not? I did not mind the similarities (that were not THAT many), even though I am currently reading the hunger games. It does give hunger games vibes with magic, and a much more intense slow burn love story and a much hotter Kai... so what are you waiting for? Mir wurde das Buch von Thalia vorgeschlagen, nachdem ich ACOTAR gekauft hatte. Leider finde ich es richtig schlecht. Die Figuren sind flach, die Welt wird quasi nicht beschrieben, Worte und Dialoge wiederholen sich in Dauerschleife. Für mich unbegreiflich, wie das durch ein Lektorat gekommen ist...Es ist halt eine Romantasy. Ich hab langsam das Gefühl: If you know one, you them all.

Diese Buchreihe war wirklich toll. Die Verbindung zwischen den zwei ist beim Lesen deutlich zu spüren. Der Plot Twist der Reihe ist auch Wahnsinn, ab einem gewissen Punkt durchschaubar aber trotzdem großartig.

Am Anfang war ich irritiert - weil mich die Geschichte so sehr an Hunger Games erinnert hat, aber spätestens als Paedyn und Kai mit ihrem Banter losgelegt haben, hat es mich nicht mehr gestört ;) Dieses Buch enthält wirklich absolut KEINEN SPICE, aber das braucht es auch nicht....denn diese Tension *puuuuh*. Hab jetzt einen dezenten Book-Hangover und brauche dringend Teil 2!!!
