Mr Aaronovitch doesn’t let us down, never, actually he’s getting better. This was a delicious read, everything is getting so mature and the storyline is perfect. The usual assortment of Goddesses and practitioners plus this time an Angel who actually comes from Sevilla, a highly pregnant Goddess wife, a fox over hearing private conversations, plus family, friends goodies and baddies in such a fascinating story that I wanted it never to end. Full of historical facts, architectural curiosities, conversations in Latin (being the only common language) and London as a permanent background. Hopefully we’ll have many happy returns of the series.
