SO GOOD

Bewertung am 21.03.2024

Bewertungsnummer: 2160146

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

I just fu*king loved it!! As a lesbian with ADHD herself I could really relate to Phoebe. I felt like I knew the two main characters in real life because they were written so well. Meryl Wilsner did an amazing job at crating these characters and the book in general!! So many times reading this I had to giggle and kick my feet's in the air. It only took me a couple of days to finish the book bc I couldn't stop reading (this happens very rarely) I was actually really sad when I finished bc I wanted more !! (I still do!!!) I never watched football or anything like that but now I really want to start and get into it.... I can recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a light-hearted book. !!! It has smut but it's written in a way that doesn't make u uncomfortable reading it.

Queer football romance

I really liked the dynamic between the characters. As I also watch women’s football I loved the football theme and the setting in the American women’s football league/ national team. There definitely must be more books like this one.

A Lesbian Soccer Escape

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

This sapphic football romance captivates with its grumpy-sunshine dynamic between an experienced player and her lively teammate, blending steamy tension with genuine emotional depth. The neurodivergent representation is skilfully woven into the narrative, highlighting personal growth amidst career pressures. The intimate scenes stand out for their focus on mutual pleasure and care, from flirtatious hair-braiding to open-door sex scenes. Overall, the smooth writing and setting in New Orleans make it a delightful escape that fans of sports romances will want to read again and again.
