Comfort Me with Apples

This was a creepy delight - very unsettling and impressive. The book was very well written and crafted with a lot of love for detail (for exapmle the chapter names). These little details made the reading experience so much more fun. The story itself is dark and twisty, and another surprise is that this is a retelling, but I won't tell you which one it is. To find out yourself makes this book even more entertaining (and it would spoil the whole story). I really enjoyed this book from page one but once the story started to unfold it became so much better. Also did I mention that the writing style was absolutely stunning?
