This was my perfect 2022 book that I was searching for. And it did not disappoint. I have finally finished the book after four months. People told me that this was enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers but that wasn’t really the case it was more of strangers to lovers but like forbidden love as well as slow burn. This book hurt me so much, but it gave me so much comfort at the same time. This book had my full attention it was just the perfect amount of comfort and hurt as well as humor and I don’t think I will ever find a book like this again. Jase and Kazi‘s relationship was so perfect, they knew that they liked, even loved each other but couldn’t do anything about it. But the queen had her motherly instincts and brought them together. The ending caught me off guard because even the author states that things are gonna get worse for both Jase and Kazi and I am really scared. I didn’t like Jase’s family the slightest, the only person I liked was the mother. In conclusion, this book deserved 5 stars, because it is so well written and it is unpredictable and I’m so excited to read the second book. I don’t know why I read authors who hurt me :(

Wenn mich jemand nach meinem Lieblings Buch mit dem Trope „Enemys to Lovers“ fragen würde, wäre „Dance of Thieves“ ohne Zweifel meine Antwort. Obwohl ich kein großer Fan von Fantasy bin hat mich dieses Buch Wort wörtlich vom Hocker gehauen. Die Spannung zwischen den Hauptcharakteren, die von Feinden zu Freunden, von Freunden zu Verliebten und von Verliebten wieder zu Feinden werden, wurde schriftlich wunderschön dargestellt. Empfehle es auf jeden Fall allen, die Fantasy oder auch nur den trope „Enemys to Lovers“ lieben, weiter.
