Fast paced, action packed and also hilarious, this space adventure kept me entertained until the last page. In this novel, we follow our protagonist „Murderbot“, a security android, made to protect humans on planetary research missions. Although there might be a small issue with this specific model, since it has hacked it’s own governor module and developed…..social anxiety? This security unit would rather stay as far away from humans as possible, yet manages to get strangely attached to it’s newest research team. So when they are threatened by unknown hostile entities, Murderbot does, what it was programmed to do. A loveable (and also very relatable) android protagonist and a thrilling space adventure make this novel a highly enjoyable experience for anyone!
