Ignite Me

Sehr viel spannender als die vorherigen beiden Teile. Die Charaktere haben mir echt gut gefallen und auch die Handlung war sehr interessant.

Aaron was so vulnerable, so earnest, so brave. He was everything and it makes me feel so ill. I loved him so much in this book. He’s so poetic, so tender. His love is so deep, and it was painful to read at times, but also incredibly beautiful. This man is so in love, he literally betray his nation and his father for her. He worships the ground she walks on. If you enjoy watching a group of teens take down a nation, themes of self-reflection, and the deep love between Juliette and Aaron, this book has it all. The best book of this series till now.

okay this is without a doubt the best book I've ever read. our girl Tahereh never dissappoints when it comes to the overalll plot and, of course, male love interests and this book is no exception. the story picks up on the ending of the second book in the series, with omega point was bombed and juliette herself shot by Anderson, Warner healed her and had her transported to the main building of sector 45, which is where he lives. he assures her she can stay there for as long as she likes, possibly forever, but juliette refuses to believe her friends - especially her situations hip Adam - are truly gone and insists on searching for them, which warner agrees to. (spoiler: they're alive) with many many things that happen throughout the story, juliette finds herself liking Adam less and less (very reasonable since he's done a lot of hurtful things) and drawn more and more to Warner and learns that, in reality, he isn't as cold and evil as he may seem. but this book doesn't only revolve around relationships. the remaining survivors of omega point, juliette and Warner team up to fabricate a plan to take down the reestablishment for good. some characters so full of hatred towards Warner now have to find a way to tolerate his constant presence and as the sorry goes on, they ,too, grow to like him. there are also some funny interactions between characters (Warner and James, I'm looking at you) that just make this seemingly serious picture this story paints a bit lighter. and kenji also cracks some awesome jokes. and mind you, this is all happening while everyone is training to perfect their abilities to be as well prepared for the ultimate moment. the fact that the author can squeeze everything I've listed and so much more with beautiful writing into just under 400 pages truly amazes me. if the text above didn't convince you, this sentence will.

Omega Point has been destroyed and Juliette doesn't know who she can trust. But one thing she does know is that she wants to destroy the Reestablishment once and for all! But to do that, she'll have to work with someone she never thought she could trust. Aaron Warner, the person who saved her life. He promises to help her with everything and to stand by her side, because he wants more from her than she thinks. I found this volume by far the best so far. I mean Juliette has finally discovered that Aaron is not an asshole. And in general, this volume just has so much more tension. I simply devoured this part. I just loved it, like I said. Oh, I just don't know how to put it into words. It was just great!
