The cruel prince
After hearing again and again about how good this fantasy novel supposedly is and how badass the protagonist Jude Duarte seems to be, I just had to give it a try. In the beginning, I was a little sceptical about it, because I felt like I just got thrown into a world that offers no explanations on how it works, how they got there, or anything about the various mythical creatures. The first fifty pages introduced me to a LOT of characters, and it was hard to keep up with all the names. But i really enjoyed Judes character from the very beginning, and I thought of her emotions as very relatable: who wouldn't be jealous of all the beauty and perfection of the fae? So far so good, I'm excited about the next book of this series! -
