My only criticism is that it takes almost the entire book for Miles to truly live in the present and acknowledge his feelings for Tate. His emotional unavailability becomes a bit frustrating at times, especially because Tate is so patient and willing to understand him. That said, once he finally does open up, the payoff is absolutely worth it. Ugly Love is about how pain can shape us and how love has the power to heal. If you’re looking for an emotional read with layered characters and a satisfying ending, this one is a must. Just be prepared to feel everything. 4.5 Star

Anfangs fande ich diese ständigen Wort Wiederholungen, wirklich nervig. Aber je weiter ich las um so gefesselter war ich von der Story. Und ich hätte nie vermutet wie es ausgeht. Es hat mich zerrissen … so schön und so emotional ! Fand es besser als „it ends with us“

Ich habe dieses Buch geliebt! Ein auf und ab von Emotionen. Schön und authentisch geschrieben, im klassischen Stil der Authorin! Ich kanns wärmstens empfehlen wenn dir Bücher gefallen, welche romanze mit drama verbinden. Ausserdem kommen die Protagonisten in November 9 wieder vor. Zwar nur am Rande aber trotzdem leben sie nocheinmal auf.

Es war mein erstes englisches Buch, dass ich gelesen habe. Die Sprache ist leicht zu verstehen und auch die Story ist spannend gehalten. Ich habe mich eigentlich nie gelangweilt, da es sehr abwechslungsreich war. Für mich persönlich war dieses Buch eine 10/10!
