A Faithful English Edition of the Book of Jubilees: the Full Ancient Apocryphal Scripture from the Ethiopian Canon Step into one of the most fascinating works of ancient Scripture through an English edition rooted in the manuscript tradition preserved within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. This unabridged edition includes the complete Book of Jubilees, also known as the Little Genesis, presented in a single comprehensive volume. It is one of the most influential pre-Christian writings ever recovered from the ancient world. Preserved for centuries within the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Canon, this sacred writing retells the sweeping story of creation, the fall, the flood, and the patriarchs. It reveals sacred chronology, angelic revelation, divine covenants, and the unfolding plan of God across the generations. The complete text is presented in clear, readable English while maintaining its traditional structure and theological integrity. WHAT YOU WILL FIND INSIDE The Complete Book of Jubilees in Print The full ancient text gathered into a single printed volume for study, research, and devotion. The Little Genesis Tradition A sacred retelling of Genesis and Exodus, divided into jubilees of years and revealed to Moses on Mount Sinai by the Angel of the Presence. The Sacred Narrative of Jubilees, including: The creation of the world and the fall of humanity The story of the Watchers and the great flood The lives of the patriarchs Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob The deliverance of Israel from Egypt The sacred calendar of feasts, sabbaths, and jubilees These passages expand historical context, theological development, and spiritual understanding, revealing the sacred chronology behind much of biblical literature. Ancient Apocrypha and Lost Scripture A writing safeguarded across centuries within one of Christianity's most enduring scriptural traditions, lost to the Western canon for over a thousand years. A Christian Heirloom Edition A complete Book of Jubilees for scholars, theologians, historians, pastors, and serious readers seeking direct access to this ancient text.
