On The Border With Crook is a non-fiction book written by John G. Bourke, published in 1891. The book is a memoir of Bourke's experiences serving as a cavalry officer in the American West during the late 1800s. The book details Bourke's time serving under General George Crook during the Apache Wars, including his participation in the Battle of the Rosebud and the Battle of Slim Buttes. Bourke provides vivid descriptions of the landscape, the people, and the battles he encountered during his time in the West. The book is considered an important historical account of the American frontier and the conflict between Native Americans and the United States government. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
