Is the pursuit of innocence in our times and ages, in this dark and sinful realm, impossible for the lives of men and women?
Fortunately, we can witness this wonder briefly in the lives of our little, innocent children.
However, this beauty of our human nature fades away very rapidly once our adult world takes over them and the level of evolution of their own souls grabs their own destinies.
2,000 years ago, a divine messenger, the son of God, came into this world to manifest the advantages of innocence for our humankind and to demonstrate that authentic innocence in adults will also bring divine wisdom to guide them and protect their paths from the snares of Satan.
Jesus knows that in this world His followers are as sheep in the midst of wolves; and He has instructed us to be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
Jesus was always ahead intellectually of all His accusers and detractors with whom He interacted during His ministry on this earth, leaving them defeated, silent and in stupor, and it didn't matter if they were either scribes, Pharisees, or doctors of the law- who could not rebuke a single word of His statements because they came from the Spirit of His Father speaking through Him.
Jesus was wise and innocent, and since He was a son of man, and a man on this earth, He showed with His example that we can too, that we can also be innocent and wise to protect ourselves from the followers of Satan.
What part of Jesus divine nature - that we can inherit if we will made Him wise, and re-affirmed His already acquired divine innocence, being as He is the Son of God?
The Holy Spirit. Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit.
