The play is divided into two parts, with the first part focusing on the love triangle between the knights, their leader, and a beautiful woman named Ianthe. The second part of the play depicts the intense battle between the knights and the Ottoman forces. The play is known for its poetic language, vivid descriptions of battle scenes, and exploration of themes such as love, honor, and sacrifice. Overall, Love And Honor And The Siege Of Rhodes is a gripping historical drama that offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of the Knights of St. John and their heroic struggle to defend their island against a powerful enemy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
