Researching Disability in Physical Education International Perspectives

Sebastian Ruin is professor of movement and sport pedagogy at the University of Graz, Austria. He completed his doctorate on conceptualizations of the body in PE concepts at the German Sport University Cologne in 2015 and habilitated on the topic of diversity and corporeality in sports pedagogy at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal in Germany in 2021. He has been awarded several prizes for his work (including the Ommo Grupe Prize of the German Association for Sports Science).

Fabián Arroyo Rojas is an assistant professor in Physical Education in the Department of Specialized Programs in Education and serves as the co-director for the Health and Physical Education program at Hofstra University.

Justin A. Haegele is the Colgate Darden Endowed Professor, and Director of the Center for Movement, Health, & Disability, in the Department of Human Movement Studies and Special Education at Old Dominion University (ODU).

Chunxiao Li is currently a professor with the School of Physical Education & Sports Science and the head of Adapted Physical Activity Plus Laboratory, South China Normal University, Guangzhou, China. He was a faculty member and program leader at Nanyang Technological University, a honorary professor at The Education University of Hong Kong, and a visiting scholar at Durham University.
