- 27 Different Tales!
Dive into the USA Today bestselling world of FEYLAND, created by Anthea Sharp, in this mega anthology of twenty-seven stories from award-winning and bestselling authors. Ranging from the poignant to the funny, the clever to the deeply thoughtful, these tales bring to life a near-future reality where an immersive game crosses the line from virtual reality into a land of dangerous magic...
What if a high-tech game opened a gateway to the treacherous Realm of Faerie?
Players create their gaming characters and log into Feyland, only to discover there's far more waiting for them than they ever expected. Prepare for dangerous quests, unexpected alliances, and more than a bit of magic, as the borders between the worlds blur and enchantment seeps into the human world.
Here's just a few of the tales in store for you in the Feyland Tales Anthology:
- A gamer loses her earring... or was it stolen by the virtual pixies?
- Striking bargains with the fae have unexpected consequences - especially when the humans think it's only a game.
- A gamer-turned-grandma proves she's still got the skills necessary to win, both in-game, and in real life.
- What happens when a goblin tastes chocolate for the first time?
- Intent on making mischief, a tricky faerie slips into our world only to be vanquished by an unexpected hero.
The world of Feyland might be game-based portal fantasy, but gateways to magic have been in existence since the first story was told in the firelit darkness of a prehistoric cave. Open this new doorway, step through, and discover tales to transport and inspire you.
