He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati. He holds a B.Tech. in Biotechnology from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and an M.Tech. in Biotechnology from Karunya University, Tamil Nadu.

Following his PhD, Dr. Dikshit joined The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi as a Research Associate, where he worked on biological wastewater treatment integrated with membrane filtration processes. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious Brain Korea 21 Plus Fellowship and pursued postdoctoral research at Chungbuk National University, Republic of Korea. He has also held academic positions as an Assistant Professor at Sharda University, Greater Noida (U.P.) and K.L. University, Guntur (A.P.) before joining NIT Jalandhar.

Dikshit has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers in reputed journals. He is the recipient of the 7th National Award from the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, and the Young Scientist Award from the International Society for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability (ISEES) in recognition of his contributions to research and academia. He currently serves as an Editorial Board Member for several reputed international journals, including Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), Discover Applied Sciences (Springer Nature), and Discover Environment (Springer Nature). His major research interests encompass waste biomass valorization, biofuel production, biopolymer development, nanotechnology, and clean energy technologies. His research focuses on the sustainable conversion of waste biomass into value-added products, renewable fuels, and advanced biomaterials.

Kuldeep Roy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, M.Tech. from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, and B.Tech. from the National Institute of Technology Srinagar. His research interests include hybrid advanced oxidation processes, heterogeneous Fenton systems, persulfate activation, process intensification, and modeling and simulation. Dr. Roy has published more than 55 peer-reviewed research articles in international journals and conference proceedings, authored 11 book chapters, and holds 9 granted design patents, with over 1,125 Google Scholar citations. He also serves as principal investigator of funded research projects supported by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, and other funding agencies. He serves as an Early Career Editorial Board Member of the Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier) and as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio) and the International Journal of Chemical Engineering (Wiley). His research contributions have been recognized through several awards, including the Early Career Award at the 2nd International Conference on Advances in Chemical and Materials Sciences (ACMS-2026), the Young Researcher Award in Chemical Engineering at ASTM 2022, and Best Oral Presentation Awards at ASREEM-2021, IV SEEC-2019, and Reflux-2019. He was also awarded the SERB-DST International Travel Grant under the Young Scientist category to attend GLS-14 in Guilin, China.

Vijayanand S. Moholkar is HAG Professor of Chemical Engineering and an Adjunct Faculty at School of Energy Science and Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. His main research interests are cavitation assisted process intensification, and thermo- and biochemical routes to biofuels synthesis. As of October 2023, he has published more than 200 papers in renowned international journals that have received more than 15,000 citations. He is a co-inventor of 2 US patents on applications of hydrodynamic cavitation reactors in bioalcohol synthesis. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) and Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK).

Rahul Kumar Singh is currently pursuing a PhD at the Engine Research Laboratory, IIT Kanpur. He joined IIT Kanpur in 2020 as a direct PhD student. He completed his master's degree from IIT Kanpur on "Life Cycle Assessment of BEVs, HEVs, and ICEVs in India" in 2023 and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand in 2020. He has received the best master’s thesis award from ISEES in the year 2023. His research interests include combustion, fluid dynamics, alternative fuels, and emissions. Currently, he is working on lean mixture combustion of low carbon fuels using turbulent jet ignition for spark engines. He has coauthored several papers published in international peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and book chapters. He has visited the Czech University of Life Sciences, Czech Republic, and the Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Israel, to conduct his research.
