'Today, out of the signs of our present times, we let resound the second Mystery Words of Michael: "O Soul of man, know thyself as the spirit, soul, and body chalice of the Christ". When we say this, we have understood what must become the foundation of all aspects of the evolution of humanity in the twenty-fist century - the second, decisive, middle century of the Age of Michael.'The laying of the renewed Foundation Stone took place during the centennial of the Christmas Foundation Conference, at Christmas 2023. This renewed Foundation Stone was formed as an answer to the Michaelic call - 'May human beings hear it!' - resounding a century ago, in Christmas 1923. The first part of this book contains the lectures given to the Global School of Spiritual Science as preparation for laying the renewed Foundation Stone. Ben-Aharon approaches the Christmas Foundation Conference not as a commemoration of the past but as a living spiritual reality whose deepest intentions remain to be fulfilled. He describes the centenary as a decisive moment in a larger process of transformation that took place in the etheric world after the death of Rudolf Steiner in 1925, and can now be actualized on earth in full consciousness. The second part features the formation and laying of the renewed Foundation Stone, whilst the third contains the nine public lectures given in the evenings of this centennial event. These describe world history in the light of the present Apocalypse of the age of Michael and the etheric revelation of Christ. The lectures culminate in a description of the meaning of the renewed Foundation Stone, leading from the spiritual crises of the twentieth century toward the possibility of creating a renewed Michaelic movement, school and community. Â
