Oncofertility in Gynecological Malignancies

Jian-Liu Wang, MD, PhD is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Peking University, Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of Peking University People's Hospital, and Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. With more than 30 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and research in obstetrics and gynecology, his work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic malignancies and pelvic floor disorders.

Professor Wang is the holder of four national invention patents and has received 12 ministerial- and provincial-level scientific and technological achievement awards. His contributions to medical education and research have been recognized with numerous honors, including the National Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award and designation as one of Peking University's Top Ten Mentors (2019). He also received the prestigious Wu Jieping–Paul Janssen Medical & Pharmaceutical Award in 2013. He won the 16th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award.

Professor Wang is an active member of several international professional societies, including the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS), International Urogynecological Association (IUGA), International Continence Society (ICS), and Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO). He serves on the Standing Committee of the Chinese Medical Association's Gynecologic Oncology Branch and holds numerous leadership positions, including Deputy Head of the National Female Pelvic Floor Disease Group, Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, President of the Women's Reproductive Reconstruction Branch of the Chinese Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Medicine, Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Committee of the Beijing Medical Association, and President of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch of the Beijing Medical Doctors Association.
