BREAKOUT AT KESTREL'S CLAW is a cinematic extraction adventure for Stars Without Number: Revised Edition, packed with tense infiltration, desperate firefights, and impossible choices aboard a hostile mercenary cruiser. Designed for 3-6 players, this adventure can be completed as an action-filled 6-8 hour one-shot, expanded into 2-3 game sessions, or dropped directly into an ongoing sci-fi campaign.
Dr. Aveline Cho has uncovered a priceless pre-Scream navigational secret-one powerful enough to reshape an entire sector. Before she could disappear with the discovery, she was captured by the notorious mercenary company known as the Redshear Concordance and imprisoned aboard their cruiser, Kestrel's Claw. With less than eighteen hours before she's delivered to a ruthless warlord, the heroes must board the ship, find their target, and escape alive.
But the mission is anything but simple.
The Kestrel's Claw is filled with competing agendas, corrupt officers, undercover operatives, and mercenaries who aren't all eager to die for their employer. Every decision advances the mission clock as security tightens, reinforcements arrive, and the window for a clean extraction rapidly disappears.
Will your crew sneak aboard using forged credentials? Turn a frightened quartermaster into an inside ally? Sabotage engineering to create the perfect distraction? Or blast straight through the hull and fight their way to the detention block?
No two playthroughs unfold the same.
