Dr. Shakir Ali is a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Dr. Shakir's research domains include groundwater contaminants, particularly fluoride, environmental isotopes, and groundwater modelling. He has published 50+ research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and edited seven books with Springer as a senior editor, including two in the HEC top series of Springer. Dr. Shakir has received 1550+ Google Scholar citations to date. He earned a master's degree in hydrogeology from the prestigious Institute of India, IIT Bombay, and obtained his PhD from the University of Delhi. He has 10+ of research and teaching experience in the field of hydrogeology and geology. Dr. Shakir has qualified several competitive exams in India and received numerous scholarships. He serves as a reviewer for dozens of international journals of Springer and Elsevier and reviewed 100+ articles. He has also served as an Assistant Professor at Himachal Pradesh University.

Prof. Nader Noureldeen M. Ramadan is a distinguished scholar in Soil and Water Sciences at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. He earned his B.Sc. (1977, with honors), M.Sc. (1983), and Ph.D. (1988) in Land Reclamation and Water Resources from Cairo University. Since 2003, he has served as a Full Professor, contributing extensively to research, education, and national development projects. Prof. Ramadan has held numerous leadership roles, including consultant for Egypt’s agricultural reclamation of 2.4 million acres, board member in national land reclamation and fertilizer committees, and expert for international organizations plenary assembly such as FAO, NATO, IOM, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He has also represented Egypt as Cultural and Educational Attaché at Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait state and served as visiting professor in MaccGill, Canada, the University of California at Riverside; USA, Italy, and Spain. With over 40 textbooks and book chapters and hundreds of publications, his expertise spans soil and water management, land reclamation, desertification, and food security, making him a leading voice in addressing climate change and sustainable agriculture.
