With the weight of his daughter's death weighing heavily on his shoulders, Dillon Winters relentlessly pursues those responsible for the virus outbreak while navigating a treacherous landscape of lies and deception on his journey to rescue Sid's family. Haunted by betrayal from those he considered friends, he grapples with inner turmoil, desperately seeking the truth and providing justice to those accountable for murdering billions of innocent people.
Dillon Winters, his brother, and several members from the compound make a trek to West Virginia to fulfill a promise made to Sid to rescue his family. In exchange, the scientist agrees to reveal the secrets he's holding and work on a vaccine for the deadly virus.
A shocking act of treachery from within their ranks leaves Dillon questioning who he can trust and if the details surrounding his daughter's death are true, or just another wild conspiracy designed to manipulate him into doing what his supposed allies want.
Armed with unreliable answers, Dillon faces a terrible dilemma: risk everything to confront those who killed his daughter and billions of others, or passively stand by and watch as hundreds of innocent people die.
Despite relying on the remnants of the NSA and FBI for assistance, Dillon must devise a scheme to breach the heavily secured government bunker, but unexpected challenges emerge.
Faced with the risk of an invasion by a horde of infected children and a growing distrust toward his potential allies, Dillon plays his cards close to his chest while seeking ways to protect himself, his friends, and potentially hundreds of innocent civilians being held captive inside the bunker.
