Portrait

Dr. Gaurav Gupta is an Adjunct Research Professor at the Centre for Global Health Research at Ajman University, UAE, and the Centre for Research Impact & Outcome at Chitkara College of Pharmacy, Chitkara University, Rajpura. Dr. Gupta is a highly accomplished pharmacologist with expertise in cardiovascular diseases, cellular senescence, and molecular mechanisms of cardiac aging. Listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists (Stanford University, 2020–2024), Dr. Gupta has authored over 700 peer-reviewed publications, with a cumulative impact factor exceeding 5000, an H-index of 67, and more than 20,000 citations. His research focuses on the roles of cellular senescence, oxidative stress, and respiratory diseases. His editorial contributions include Springer volumes on inflammatory lung diseases, epigenetics, and molecular pharmacology.

Mr. Md Sadique Hussain is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Uttaranchal University, where he is recognized for his impactful contributions to both academia and scholarly publishing. With a research portfolio comprising over 120 research and review articles and more than 15 published book chapters. His work spans a broad spectrum of disciplines, consistently reflecting innovation, analytical depth, and academic rigor. He has already edited one book published by CRC Press and is currently editing three additional books for leading international publishers, CRC Press, Elsevier, and Bentham Science. His ongoing work in both authorship and editorial capacities underscores a growing influence in academic literature and highlights his role as a thought leader in contemporary research.

Dr. Shreyas Gaikwad is currently a Field Application Scientist at Cellink, where he applies his expertise in 3D bioprinting, microfluidics and other in vitro models to support cutting-edge life science research and translational applications. He brings prior experience as a Research Scientist at SynVivo Inc. in AL, USA where his primary focus was on the development and validation of next-generation organ-on-chip models for translational research and drug discovery. Utilizing his advanced training in pharmaceutical sciences and hands-on expertise in microfluidic engineering, 3D bioprinting, and cellular assay development, he engineered complex in vitro models that closely mimicked human tumor microenvironments, including pancreatic, bone, and colon cancers. His PhD work bridges molecular biology, immunology, and bioengineering, facilitating mechanistic studies of tumor biology, immune interactions, and drug responses. His prior experience also includes CEO/Team Lead at Neopurpose Therapeutics, where he drove tumor-on-chip innovation and secured major startup grants. In addition to his technical work, he actively contributes to the scientific community as a guest editor for BMC Pharmacology, Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology and Frontiers in Oncology, and a peer reviewer for over 20 journals.

Prof. Rajiv Dahiya is Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the School of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medical Sciences, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago, and former Director of the School (2016-2022). He holds a PhD in Pharmacy from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India, and a DSc in Clinical Pharmacology from the International University for Complementary Medicine, Sri Lanka. His research focuses on synthetic peptide chemistry and bioactive cyclopeptides, with 75+ publications, 16 book chapters, and 3 international patents. Recognized among the world’s top 2% researchers in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Stanford University ranking, 2021-2024), he has received the Most Productive Researcher Award (2019) and Caribbean Distinguished Pharmacy Researcher Award (2021).
