Napoleon Enteria is Professor of mechanical engineering at Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Philippines, and Founder and Head of the Energy–Environment Interaction (E²I) Laboratory, which focuses on climate-responsive building technologies, energy–environment interactions, and sustainable solutions for tropical and developing regions. His research expertise encompasses renewable energy systems, sustainable building technologies, advanced HVACR systems, and indoor and outdoor environmental quality, with particular emphasis on hot and humid climates. He is currently Visiting Research Fellow at the Building Research Institute of Japan and previously served as Global Center of Excellence (GCOE) Researcher at the Wind Engineering Research Center of Tokyo Polytechnic University. He has also worked as Research Staff Member at Tohoku University, Japan, and is affiliated as Scientist with the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore at the National University of Singapore. Prof. Enteria is Observer-Member of the International Energy Agency (IEA).
