Lady Aestival Violet, a Fairy knight of the Gallery Order, has no time for romance: she's far too busy solving puzzles and pacing the halls of the Commonplace Palace Museum. When a sculpture under Aesti's care (her least favorite sculpture, in fact) becomes the target of a real heist, she reluctantly agrees to stage a fake wedding in the galleries to lure the thief out of hiding. She's surprised beyond measure, too, when Miss Clement volunteers to play Aesti's false bride. As the pair prepare for their "marriage" and grow closer, Aesti begins to understand why Olivine is so invested in keeping this specific sculpture safe. Olivine's running from her past, and she needs protection herself-and knightly Aesti would be honored to provide. But if she becomes too distracted and lets Olivine steal her heart, the thief might manage to steal away the sculpture for good...
